Invite team members to a channel

Channels make it easy for your team’s discussions to stay organized and on topic. Here’s how you can invite your team members to join your channel.

  1. Open a channel.
  2. Click on the three dots icon Channel options menu to the right of the channel name.
  3. Click Edit Channel.
  4. Enter a team member’s name into the Add by name field, and it will show you a list of autocomplete matches.
  5. Click their name to add them to the channel.

  3. Tap Members.
  4. You will see a list of members. Click the profile with a plus icon in the top right.
  5. Enter a team member’s name or email address into the Name or email field, and it will show you a list of autocomplete matches.
  6. You can also select users manually using the Add Users option, or import members using the Import from channel or Import from group options at the bottom
  7. Click their name to add them to the channel.

  2. Tap the channel title at the top.
  3. Tap Members.
  4. You will see a list of members. Tap the + at the top.
  5. Tap Import users to invite individuals, or Import Users From Group to invite a group of people.
  6. Scroll to find the user or group you would like to invite. A checkmark will appear beside their name.
  7. When you have selected all the users or groups you’d like to invite, tap Save in the top right.
