Send a photo or attachment with a message

You can send photos, files or any other attachment in Twist messages. Here’s how.

  1. From the message entry field, click the paperclip icon at the bottom right.
  2. Select the file you’d like to attach from your computer.
  3. The file will begin uploading and will appear below your text input box with a green checkmark when completed.
  4. Write the text of your message, or leave the message blank, then hit return to send.
  1. From the message entry field, click the paperclip icon or photo icon to the left.
  2. If you click the paperclip, find a file you want to attach and tap it.
  3. Once it has finished uploading, you can type out a message, or leave the message blank, and hit the send icon to send it.
  4. If you click the camera icon, you can take a photo or video and add it to your message.
  5. Once you’ve taken the photo or video, you can type out a message, or leave the message blank, and hit the send icon to send it.

You can add more attachments by clicking the + sign beside an attachment and selecting Take a photo or File.

  1. From the message entry field, click the paperclip icon or photo icon to the left.
  2. If you click the paperclip, you can select from three options:
    1. “Take a photo or video” will allow you to take and send a photo or video.
    2. “Use last photo taken” will attach the last photo or video you took.
    3. “Photo library” will allow you to select a photo or video from your library.
  3. If you click the camera icon, you can take a photo and add it to your message directly.
  4. Once you’ve selected your attachment or taken your photo or video, you’ll see a progress indicator letting you know the percentage progress of the attachment upload.
  5. After the attachments have uploaded, you can type out a message, or leave the message blank, and hit the send icon to send it.

You can add more attachments by clicking the camera icon or paperclip icon after uploading your first attachment.
